If you are buying a new Irish domain name (or any domain for that matter) we will publish a test site for you to start the build process (best to ensure if ordering a .IE domain that you have registered the name with the companies office before we start and that that has been confirmed) whilst we wait for the domain registry to confirm your choice. Once you have written the text, proof read it, submitted the images and design concepts then you are ready to launch. Bear in mind that we can arrange .com and other domain addresses for you too. It is your preference, provided you meet certain criteria for some registries.
Ireland's domain registration system is designed to stop the bulk buying of names from overseas and although it can make the process somewhat more expensive and time consuming, it does offer some security for business names in the future.
Domain names - www.mybusiness.ie/.com
To use Creativesitepro you will need to buy a domain name such as www.mybusiness.ie - this is the address or URL (Uniform Resource Locator) that people type into their web browser when they want to visit your site. It's also the address that search engines like Google visit when they index your site. Using your own domain name with Creativesitepro couldn't be simpler - we take all the pain out of the process for you.
If you already own the domain name you want to use:
Simply contact the company you bought the domain name from and ask them to point the A record for the domain name to 68.178.139.97. Many domain name vendors will provide you with an online control panel that allows you make this change yourself. Then simply email us on icreativesitepro@gmail.com and tell us the domain name, and we'll configure your site to appear at that address. Done!
Alternatively, we can transfer your domain name to our registrar if you prefer. This will incur a fee for transfer to the new registrar.
If you don't currently own a domain name:
Just tell us the domain name you want. We'll check its available, buy it for you and set everything up (.IE domains, see above). Done!
Email set up - e.g.: mail@myband.com
Creativesitepro customers who bought their domain name through us get one free "catch-all" email address (e.g. mail@mydomain.com). Any email sent to anything@mydomain.com will be received. The email will be forwarded to an email address of your choice. Customers with .IE addresses are required to pay a fee for email every year. This is not included in our hosting package.
If you don't buy your domain through us, or transfer it to us, you can set up your email through your current registrar. Since in this case we don't have a relationship with the domain name company, we can't set up your mail for you.
